I thouroughly enjoyed Skillman Wok. I was pleasantly surprised at how great everything was and I didn't feel really bad eating it. The only thing I didn't like as well was the crab rangoon, but the egg rolls made up for that. They gave me enough food to enjoy the next day and it was even better the next day. I can't wait to go back. I enjoyed the orange chicken and selected the all white meat (because I can't stand rib meat). It was all too excellent. Next time I'll get a beef dish. As far as the MSG is concerned, I didn't have any MSG side effects like I do at other restaurants, so I believe them and I wasn't hungry or thirsty after eating it. I've been living by this place for a few months now but never ate there. I'll be frequenting about twice a month now and referring friends.

Last time we were at Kirin Court 2 yrs ago, we weren't that impressed with food. The restaurant wasn't busy at 11am.

We went back because more people seem to like Kirin Court over Maxim's now. I think Kirin's food improved! Congee is much better than at Maxim's (which is always overcooked). Also, the fried squid might be the best in town, next to Thai Ocrhid's.

So now we are converts :-) Won't go back to Maxim's (except for the deep fried taro with shrimp).
