Kooky for Pizookie

Ok, ok, I realizing naming your hybrid dessert of a pizza and a cookie as “pizookie” is about as clever as taking on a pseudonym like K-Fed.  It sounds more fitting on a Chuck E Cheese’s menu than one at a microbrewery.  But despite all that, I find the comforting simplicity of the pizookie dessert at BJ’s cozy and delightful, a thick, fluffy, warm, soft cookie in a mini deep dish pan topped with cold vanilla ice cream… it’s like childhood in a dessert.
